UAE Laws on Youth Employment

 

Children below the age of 15 are prohibited from being employed in the UAE. Those between the ages of 15 and 18 years are allowed to work subject to several conditions regarding their working hours and conditions. Students between the ages of 15 and 18 years old are permitted to work and are issued temporary juveniles’ work permits. Students above 12 and below 18 years who aim to get training are given training permits by MoHRE.
